With the recent outbreak of COVID-19, we understand the worries about your health, safety and the hygiene practices at Strip. You can however, be rest assured that you are in safe hands with stringent hygiene practices at the salon.
Treatment instruments & procedures
- Gloves and masks must be worn by the staff at all times during treatment procedures.
- Instruments will be throughly sterilised using antiseptic cleaners.
- Surfaces are constantly wiped down to maintain hygiene.
Our staff
We will be monitoring their health carefully. Their body temperatures will be taken on a daily basis. They are also instructed to maintain proper hand hygiene.
Air purifiers installed on every floor
We have installed IQAir purifiers on each floor. Those are the same air purifiers that were used by the HK hospital authorities during the SARS epidemic in 2003. The IQAir HEPA filters in the purifiers have been tested to be effective against the coronavirus family.

Strip 10 step hygiene process:
1. Hands are washed before every treatment
2. Put on gloves
3. Put on face mask
4. Disinfect tools, equipment and working station with hospital grade and scoot disinfectant wipe before treatment.
5. Cleanse customer’s skin with antiseptic before treatment
6. Single-use razors, spatulas, cotton buds are disposed immediately after every use. No double dipping or contact.
7. Cleanse customer’s skin with antiseptic after treatment
8. Disinfect equipment and working station after treatment
9. Fresh clean towels are used and replaced after every customer
10. Sterilised all tools with hospital grade disinfectant and air dry after every use.

Browhaus 10 step hygiene process:
1. Hands are sanitised with hospital grade disinfectant before every treatment
2. Put on gloves
3. Put on face mask
4. Disinfect tools, equipment and working station with hospital grade disinfectant before treatment.
5. Put cape on customer before treatment
6. Cleanse customer’s skin with antiseptic before treatment
7. Single-use needles, threads, cotton buds and tissues are disposed immediately after every use. No double contact/reuse.
8. Cleanse customer’s skin with antiseptic after treatment
9. Disinfect equipment and working station after treatment
10. Sterilised all tools, mirror and treatment bed with hospital grade disinfectant after every customer.
